I started a blog about forum development today.

I am not a blogger, not at all. I am a forum enthusiast and forum development is my main interest. But I needed somewhere to keep track of all my forum and online activity. And somewhere I can share my knowledge of forums with others to make the most of it. That is why, today, I created a blog about my personal love of forums. I will provide forum building tips, vBulletin news, and updates about my own projects. Also, I will occasionally post about my other interests.

I bought the domain about 5 hours ago and setup WordPress for about 20 minutes after that. Then I spent the next three hours trying to find a theme to hold me over until I get a real one. And just 15 minutes ago I made my first post. Right now I'm writing the about page.

I have a question, too. Like I said above, I wrote the first post as an introduction to the site, and I'm very anxious to write many more. Does it look bad to publish many posts in one day? And on the first day especially? Yes, I will take my time with them and they will be of good quality and well thought out, but I don't know if that would look unprofessional.

WordPress really is amazing. It is so easy to manage pages and blog posts with it. And right now I'm using a free theme I found after hours of browsing through the hundreds of themes. I can't wait to get a unique theme. And I don't know if WordPress has modifications like forums do yet, but I'm looking for it. (I think they do but they are called widgets, correct?)

I'm anxious to start added blogs but I just don't want to do it so quickly that it looks odd or rushed.

you should just integrate this with the adminaddict site (perhaps get vBlog or something for AA)

That way instead of getting traffic to two sites you'll get more traffic to just one (which I think is better?_?)

Yeah, I know FEblog and AdminAddict are very similar, but I actually have a different use for this blog.

AdminAddict is on more of an official level whereas FEblog is my personal blog for not only forum development topics, but occasionally other big interests like movies, Xbox 360, and Apple. It will also be where I can showcase all of my websites and blog about what I have planned/have done to them. I suppose the two things that overlap, though, are vBulletin news and forum building tips that I will blog about. AdminAddict gets updated (or was intended to) with forum software (not just vBulletin) news and forum building tips and tutorials. FEblog will have some vBulletin news worthy of posting and different forum building tips.

I "am" the forum enthusiast, rather than it being a blog "for" forum enthusiasts. Thus it will not always be about forum development like seen on AdminAddict. And like I said, I will have many pages that I feel I need to keep track of my online activities. Such as a page listing all the forums I activley participate in with the username I use. Because sometimes even I forget.

I hope that makes sense.
