IMHO the best video game of all time is Super Mario Brothers.
Why you ask?
Because who has not played it? Who can't stop for a minute and hum the theme song? How many other games have had this impact?

Most memorable, perhaps.

Super Mario World was the greatest Mario Game in history.

The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time, although I liked Super Mario 64 as well (preferring Mario Galaxy recently though) and respect the things which various other games have brought to gaming as a whole.
