Computer Chat PC reboot itself

I've a problem with my PC that reboot itself for uknown reason. It reboots not turn off.

What could be the reasons putting in mind that it could reboot itself a few minutes/hours after turning it on.

Heat/Trojans/Power.. Happen daily??

It happens eveyday nearly, and could happen a few times in a short time.

Heat: It's 1024MB RAM and I see all the fans working all the time.

Trojan: I don't think so since it's still happening after I installed a new windows and scanned the HD.

Power: Shouldn't this turn off the PC instead of restarting?

Ok thats usually caused by something you have changed.

Did you install new software, drivers, anything you can remember just before this started happening??

Not really, this has been happening since I about the PC 4 months ago plus I used to install a new windows each month.

In system properties, starup and recovery..

Turn everything off except "write an event to system log"

Apply and reboot..

If that dont help, let me know...

Are you sure Mazinger? Post up your system specs and let some of us hash it out. Include PSU sustained and PSU max wattage.
