  • Google's searchbot spidering my forums

I just noticed that Google's searchbot was a guest on my board. Has anyone ever compiled a list of what search engines spider vBulletin forums?

Google, Alta Vista, Inktomi and Fast all index dynamic pages.

Looksmart's spiders will index them but not add them to the directory.

does this mean I don't have to hack to get the search engines to spider my boards?

FYI, I had AOL's spider on my board this morning as well. Is anyone interested in helping me compile a list of the top sites so we can distribute it and keep it up to date here?

Does anyone know how often Google updates that cache of my page they have?

That's good. I need them to update the meta search tags as well as the cache
