I just checked an eBulletin concerning vBulletin 2.3.4, and as I already pointed out, it contained the same login credentials as was initially issued to me, and remained the same until this somewhat sudden site-wide change.Toddler from HellComment

I have never requested a change, but I do remember getting one of these emails before. That was the time I was concerned.vBulletin - Sometimes, I'm just like, Wow, and then I'm like, Whoa, and then I'm like, Damn.

Arrgg - A client wants me to do a test of the current beta on their forums, and they just went out of the country for the next couple of weeks. And of course I have the old password for maintaining their forums, but not the new one.
Now I have to send email to all my clients and get the new passwords for everyone. This is really turning into a hassle. I thought it was just my password, as it was several years old, the one that I have the request for is not that old. I didn't realize it was everyones password, or I would have made the request to my clients when I got the email.
Oh well, I guess they can wait.

IMHO we should be able to pick our own passwords.
Edit; and usernames, for that matter."CREEPSHOW CREEPS ONLINE" - The first & best online resource dead-icated to Stephen King & George A. Romero's 1982 horror anthology classic!!!!Comment

Lots of other sites let you (eg. Yahoo!) -- I can't see why vBulletin.com can't do the same...

It would lead to a lot of license theft. Even know we have many issues where people get their email accounts hacked at places like Yahoo, Hotmail and Gmail for the purpose of having their vBulletin licenses stolen.Translations provided by Google.
