  • 22" Computer Monitor

I'm in the market for a 22" LCD monitor for $200-$250. I found these two but not familiar with what all the specs are. Each monitor has a "# cd" and "m2 #:#" and I'm not sure what they are for. If I had to guess it would be for pixel load time but I'm not positive. If anyone is an expert in this and could help me pick the better monitor then please help me out! Thanks!

I have never heard of DCLCD or CHIMEI.

I went for a 22'' Samsung 2232BW, 2 ms, widescreen (it's not that much different to the 226BW) and it's great.
    That's the end of that!

Problem with getting a brand like you said is the prices won't be in the range I need them to be. But thanks for the reply.

          I have a Chi Mei.

My red component port is broken, but its getting fixed.

Before it went out, it worked great. It is NOT for people into serious image editing, but if you're playing games and just generally surfing around it works pretty good.

I wouldn't get a 'cheap' brand tbh - with LCDs you get what you pay for.

How about the Samsung SM 226BW ? They're about £200 here in the UK.

I would not buy either of those two and spend my money on a 20 or 24" from dell instead (or samsung, or viewsonic or apple)

For the every day web surfing and online forum chatting the frame rate isn't really going to matter much is it? I won't be watching and movies or play games.
