  • .com / .net or .co.uk

If you had a choice to choose between .com .net and .co.uk for your domain name, which would you choose?

I know its not that important and its down to content of the site, but I am just curious.

.com every time. It's the most familiar domain suffix with non-internet users. You'd be surprised how many people won't remember .co.uk when you tell them it, and end up at .com

If you can only choose one - do .com. I have two domains for my website. One just points to the other.

.com all the way, .net follows and I would never ever use .co.uk. It's just not known enough to make it worth anything.

If you can't get a .com or .net for a site that isn't bound to your country pick a different name.

Many thanks everyone for your input.
I thought that would be the case but I just wanted some reassurance
