    Thank you friend..I usually tested my internet connection speed using the http://www.ip-details.com/internet-speed-test/ .This site shows both downloading and uploading speed..My speed test results are,
    Downloading speed -1.26Mbps
    Uploading speed-0.59Mbps..

    That is interesting because speedtest.net doesn't host their own testing servers. Among the ones that they use are those provided by Speakeasy.

    As with all these online speed tests, they are not accurate. the file size is too small to test a full burst.

    I jump to 500kbyte/sec but can't climb, because it's already done downloading a second later.

    I usually go here (since it has a huge internet pipe, and isn't fully in use, and has 10/100 and 1gb flies to test with, plus it is in my country) http://ftp.snt.utwente.nl/pub/test/ this gives me 19,8mbit, 2,2mbyte/sec down.
