I was on my friend's computer (Mac), today and my vBulletin looks way different on it, and I am using the default theme.

If your friend does graphics work and could have calibrated the monitor, that actually makes things look a lot different if you are not used to using a properly calibrated monitor (which most people are not).Comment

With Safari I notice some "thick" borders above/below tcats (see screen), but other then that everything seems the same.Comment
