My Website Design Class!!!

I'm supposed to create a:

Web Site Project: The major focus of this class is a real-world project. For the project, you will create a set of web pages (“a website”) for one of the following: Children's site, Educational site, or Non-profit organization site . Students may work alone or in a group of two. A number of deliverables will be due throughout the semester. These deliverables must look professional and be in a specific format. You can view the documents in HTML but you will need to submit them through the Drop Box in the MS Word (.doc) format.

I have a while to think it through but nothings bubbling to mind at the moment. Anyone know any areas that would be fun to work on in a project like this?

Find a local volunteer or charity that needs a site ?

Then you'll have a real customer, requirements and experience of dealing with the development cycle with customers, as well as helping them out.

I have a similar project to complete for school, I can't wait to start it. It's going to be my first real attempt at coding and designing a website thats going to go live.

You could create a website that helps students with a certain subject, something you are good that.
