    vB Proof

    Hiya, my host wants me to contact vB to contact them to prove that i own my copy of vB, who do i contact to do this?

    This is nonsense! Why would they bother? It's Jelsoft's business not theirs to prove your vBulletin copy's status. Are they a reliable host running a legal business or just some individual with a reseller account?
    You're spending millions of dollars on a website?!

        They said "We were contacted and told that your site does not have a valid vBulletin license. Since this is copyright violation we were forced to suspend your account. To get your account unsuspended you will need to contact vBulletin regarding this and have them contact us."

          Oh right, so it might be a case that vBulletin themselves have contacted your host then.

            That's what i thought but i know i have a license but i don't know who to contact about it, they said to get vB to contact them to say if i had a license or not. In the meantime they've taken hostage of my vB DB and i can't download or back it up.
