Infractions what is it?

Hi there i am somewhat confused as to what infractions is and how it applies. What is the difference between points and infractions what is the benefit one over the other?

Also infraction levels do no show under postbit/postbit_legacy is there any way to do this just like the inferno warning system?

If you want to show Infraction level points etc.. they can be shown in the postbit templates with a simple code. The forums here, also show an infraction in the postbit template.

Infractions are like points pretty much. You basically create your own titles or rules for each infraction in the acp. You can later on add custom ones, while giving someone an infraction.
