They provided a quick fix that made it "time out" for lack of a better word when trying to connect. It did do it on update.

Wasn't aware, it wasn't when I posted this yesterday.

For a while, before the fix, people with genuine installs of Vista were getting features disabled when they installed anything that had to ccess the wga servers.

I still can't do a Windows Update. My laptop freezes for about 30 minutes then goes back to 'search for updates'.
