    Hi all,

Couldn't really figure out where I should put this appologies if this is the wrong place.

On to the questions, We are creating a portal for a city in the UK and were using basic HTML for the pages. This was fine since we were only doing the one city and most stuff didn't need repeated until now. We are now doing a martial arts site and moving on to 4 more cities and figure that a Database's would just be so much better at handling all this information.

This is where we have the problems I'm not an expert designer/coder I had an business idea and some basic knowledge and I've managed to learn most stuff while creating what I class as an informative site.

So where do we go from here is the question? Any advice on which database to use or which books to read? Or are barking up the wrong tree? Is there any good software we could use or should be looking at.

Currently we use Dreamweaver and have been thinking of getting ultradev. Would ultradev work with mySQL?

I know this probably isn't the right place but you people have helped many a time with VB I though I'd give you all a shot at a none vB problem.

Thanks for any insight you can provide in advance.

I don't know if DW UltraDev does anything beyond asp..

But if you want to pull pages from a mysql database then you might check out this:
    ftp://w10.net/pub/W10/DynamicPage/DynamicPage-0.01.tgz
Its a very simple system, and can be adapted to what ever you need...

You really wouldn't build a site with the code the way it is, its ment to learn how to do such a thing, and intergrate it into your site, hope this helps...
