  • Has anyone encountered this??

I have been getting deluged with the following type of e-mail message. The person who is sending them (what the e-mail shows) is always a user from my vB. I have my vB set up so my users e-mail addresses are never shown. How did this spammer get a hold of my user list??

    The attached file always differs.

    Hi! How are you?

I send you this file in order to have your advice

    See you later. Thanks

I believe this is another virus that's making the rounds. It's probably coming to you from some Outlook users who have you in ther address book.

I've 2 computers with different logon details to my forum and a different email address, yet I have received this email about 6 times to both of my computers.

This makes me beleive that someone knows what or who is listed in my forums and sending out this rubbish.

the virus actually looks into the infected pc's address book, as well as internet temp cache directory and finds all emails listed there as well and then sends the virus to all thos emails
