Just a stupid question to see how everyone responds?

What would you do if you were to own Jelsoft?

I would start investing into my dream Jelsoft park!

NOTE: THIS PICTURE WAS MODIFIED IN PHOTOSHOP. JELSOFT IS NOT SITUATED HERE!

Honestly, lower prices, and make some cool new gadgets for vB.

We all would want that especially for the addon . But if they do, they will not be able to compete. vb may be seen as another ordinary software plus they wont get good developers to work for them. Its probably easy for us to make any assumptions. We dont know the reality.

I have already approached contractors for Jelsoft park. They think I am insane!

why would the price need to lower ?
If I was Jelsoft, I would merge vb.com and vb.org together

First I would have to win the PowerBall Lottery and buy JelSoft. I would introduce a new license level that would allow upgrades to your forum until the cows come home without paying the renewal fee for download access of the newest versions.

2nd would to give a raise or extra beer to the developers and some extra to get vB 4.0 out of the stable.

3rd would be to sell the software in geek computer stores.

Do you really think that extra beer will get vB 4.0 out sooner (without bugs)?

PS Our developers run on cookies, not beer

Jelsoft is located in the UK so that picture would of been better if you put rain on it

The weather is not that bad these days in the UK, but I feel the office would look more like this:

People still think of Jelsoft as a bunch of geeks who have coded vBulletin in the basement. They should have declared vBulletin a proprietary closed-source software & price it at +$3500 per license in order for people to think of them as a company with decent offices & full-time employees.
