Hi...

I searched the place for topics on it and they got closed for differ reasons I dont blame anyone...

But I have a customer that likes it...I dont know If I should advise them to use it??? He cant afford to pay for vb...and I dont want him to have an illegal rip of it...

So is it illegal...or legal...

Please only reply if you have info not opinions that will waste my time...

It seems to be legal, but I haven't seen any source code yet.

Hehe, the code is not a ripoff of VB, if that's what you're wondering about, TheComputerGuy

Although the general layout and even the options are a flattering copy of VB2... so I guess you could call it a cosmetic ripoff... but it seems to be a legal codewise

Is this just modified stolen vBulletin source?

I never saw this site till a friend asked me to set the board up for
him..... So I asked what is openBB? and he linked me to their site..
I was like (wow) can we say vBulletin?...

Just wondering.....

The source code isn't vBulletin, although the layout has a VERY uncanny resemblance

Well once I got it all setup... I notice that even thou it looks
(Almost Exactly) Like vBulletin... its really had a very ugly admin (Board CP) and is just cheesy

But when I first saw it.. That was the first thing that popped into my head.. lol *shurg* (First time I saw vBulletin. I thought wow its a high power UBB.. (heheh)
