Hehe.. I grew up on a farm with over 100 animals to feed twice a day and acres of crops to tend. If we weren't taking care of animals or crops, we were mending fences or doing other duties. I'll take my life now over getting up every day at 4:30 and working 2 hours before school then working until dark (which is 9:00 p.m. in the summer) after school.

Well, at least you kept active.

      I'm glad I've had a relaxing childhood.

I have the default card that came with the machine, runs fine for half life 2 / cs:s - so I am happy with it for a while. I do most my gaming on xbox360 now, so it is not needed to have a directx 8800 vista card with 15 fans and 99 cores on them. Maybe next year

My damn Radeon X800 Pro has a fan on his heatsink.

But I hope to receive my replaced GeForce 7900 GT soon. It will also have a fan...

            I got 4 fans

using 2 x GeForce 7950GX2 atm, but will probably switch to quad CrossFire when R600 comes out.

Are you a big gamer? That's cool. I personally wouldn't spend as much on the graphics cards as I would on the computer itself.

You should know that people who buy the top of the range GFX cards each time one comes out are gamers, as why else would someone be buying the GFX cards all the time if they wasn't going to put the GFX cards to their max with games? why have a good graphics card when your barely going to use it? so yes he probably is a gamer.

not at all, I usually only have 2-3 games installed that I play very occasionally. the reason for having expensive graphics cards is simple - graphics. quad SLI makes rendering high resolution images in LightWave and Vue MUCH faster.
