    Is this true? I tried posting on there forums but it got deleted.

    Again? They were "hacked" right before the release of Half-life 2 and the code was stolen and distributed on the internet. You would think that would been lesson enough to increase their security.

                    Two separate incidents. Valve's servers were hacked several years ago about 2 months before Half-Life 2 was released and that is what I am referring to.. Basically this has proven they are unreliable with their Internet security and aren't worth any more of my money regardless of what games they release.

                              You don't deal with public/private key authentication much do you? This looks like their SSL certificate which means anyone with it can decode HTTPS communications on their site.
