I had a very cool one a few years ago. I used a hack to display the username in a post of whoever was reading the post and I used Scott Pakin's Complaint Generator to generate a nonsense complaint post. Everyone who read it thought it was about them. Of course, I posted under a ficticious username which added to the mystery.
Lol just used the generator might test it on my site xD

Does anybody know how I can use this to change only one forum or child forum?

    Thanks.

You should have asked me for a style. I have one all set! For me... I have no idea what I will do. Our members aren't usually the fun type when I do play jokes in the first place.

They seem to change it back really quickly. I might do a notice.... maybe.

That would be something that could backfire dramatically and not end well.

I'm not sure what I'm gonna do this year, it's the first time in about 3 years I've actually had a site to pull an April Fools Joke on.
