  • DST .. anyone affected ?

Last night the time has changed

  • #2
Not really... but I keep feeling like the time's wrong, and I've been going back and forth between "Am I early?" or "Am I late?"
Congratulations on the death of vBulletin, Internet Brands.

For only an hour difference, I feel completely screwed up like it should only be 8 PM or so. Then again, I did wake up at 1 PM anyway compared to 9 AM the day before.

That's why GoDaddy is terrible and I don't recommend them.

Any professional webhost would not have the DST change affect them..

Godaddy is another story, in my opinion they can/t be trusted..

What you say is very true Joe, however the Premise of this entire Godaddy vs DST argument was Godaddy did not suffer a DDoS attack, but rather suffered a DST attack.

Unless there is evidence to suggest otherwise, I don't think it's in Godaddy's best interest to lie and tell people they suffered a DDoS attack.

Thats right, you wouldn't believe how many times i had to ask godaddy to check the time on their servers, after 6 attempts and writing a script to prove to them their server was an hour off, not that it was off its dst/nondst settings. Sigh, they could have fixed on the first attempt by CHECKING the time.
