I have many domains with them, but only got the free trial on one account. (which happens to be the largest, with 1500+ subscribers) Looks like they're trying to get their biggest users to start paying, but it'd be something like $260/month. Thats more than my dedicated server!

I got the same email, on an account with 1,432 users. I guess they are looking to get their biggest customers to switch over to paid service, but I agree the prices they are asking for are way too high. I could buy a custom solution for under $1k and host it myself.

Or even just use one of the off-the-shelf POP interfacing systems at HotScripts, and write a quick script to create POP accounts your server.

All you'd be paying for is bandwidth.

Everyone.net charges $250 for 1000 users.

Thats around 100MB of transfer per user, per month. Does any one user really transfer that much?
