Not all hacks are visible to the general audience, even less to people who aren't registered. Most of the enhancements are for the Advisors so that they can get their work done easier and to alter how forums actually work. I never approached forums based on the number of hacks they have installed but on their design, environment and people. But you are correct, I have only installed 10 or so hacks from these forums. The other 190 or so code changes are my own work.

    But each to his own...

Okay we are in the last two days of votings... Come on everyone, let's see your vote.. Which Board do you think is the best vBulletin out there?

Don't see your's listed talk to S. Molinari. He is accepting nominations for August and September by now...

Put a little spirit into the community with some spirited competition.

    copyright issue: solved

    Hi guys,

First of all: thanks for getting Ultrashock.com mentioned this list.

I wish I could be a more active member around here, then I would have replied earlier to this copyright issue, and we probably didn't loose any votes in this race

To get things straight: We do have a license that allows us to legally remove the copyright information on every page generated by vBulletin. And although we have that license, we still provide full credit to vBulletin & Jelsoft with a clickable copyright notice directly to the vBulletin site, and this at our overal credits page. That's almost better than the real thing The reason why we do this, is because of all the developers involved in Ultrashock and because we do care about credits, if we had to put them at the bottom of every page, the site wouldn't look as clean as it looks now.

I hope this solves the big mistery around Ultrashock.

PS1: I know some people don't like heavy use of Flash on our site, but the site is Flash resource site.
PS2: lucky that I'm not living in Florida, or I would have requested a recount of the votes, hehe.
PS3: yes cliffe2, as the co-owner of Ultrashock, I'm also a mod there and FYI I created vBulletin's logo, initial interface & graphics.

I would like to say a few things here...

First off... Thanks for the nomination.

Second... Thanks to everyone who has voted.

Third... All of the sites are great looking and a benefit to the whole community. Each Admin has taken the time to dedicate true effort to their communities and visions and I tip my hat to you.

I have been watching this thread but was remaining impartial and didn't want to post until now.

As far as a tie... I don't think anyone would be adverse to sharing the title for a month if necessary, I know I wouldn't be. I do have one question though.. Is there going to be some sort of reward graphic for being the monthly best?

In case of tie, have a time-limited runoff.

I do agree that 10 is too many to look at. I viewed all of them, but it took longer than I would've liked. Five would be more manageable.

    Scott,

Remember that many of us subscribe to this thread and view it again when there's an update. That's could explain why the view count is so much higher than the actual votes.

Maybe they have a special licence, as one of the MODs is that guy from NRG.be (check your vB CP )

    Hmmm...well I couldn't tell since I couldn't access the site!

It still doesn't excuse the fact they they are violating the license agreement by removing the copyright. IMO this alone should disqualify them from consideration.
