  • How old is your PC/Laptop?

How old is it? And how is it working? Let's share....

... Mine is about 5 years old. I haven't changed anything in it except the hard drive, the mouse & the keybaord.

It's working not bad... but it does an annoying sound.

You need a new fan in it then if it is too noisey

My main machine is about 14 months old (AMD2400 / 1GB Ram / 2x80GB Drives) That i built myself

My server (dont have it on much now) is quite old, i think about 6-7 years now. (Dell Poweredge 2x500Mhz P3 / 1GB Ram / 4x9GB + 2x18GB Scsi)

I need a mouse too. The left button sucks; I've to click on it strongly to work.

I'm trying to save money, then I'll use it to fix some stuffs.

My old hard drive no longer working... I'm using one 8.4 GB now.

You might be able to take it apart and clean the switch, it might just be dirt under the button.

It's clean, but one of plastic pieces into it has been broken.

My PC is one year old. My laptop is 2 years old but broken.

Both are pretty average spec, I would like to get a really good new desktop because my current one lags when running Photoshop etc. but can't afford it

                  MacBook Pro/~2-3 months old

I love it! I was a little unsure for the first 2-3 weeks, but it was still the transition period for me (Windows to Mac OS X.)

My fan was very noisy until I updated the BIOS and now you can't hear anything, which was weird at first. Check your board manufacturers website for any updates before changing the fan.

Ordered my iMac in October I think, and I just order a MacBook. So both <1year

My other computer is about 2 years old now, and is about to happily be a development server when I get time to set it up.
