    They use the same colors in the logo letters. Lol I’m slow
    What’s up with that? Any other companies do the same thing?

              Yes, but there is an underlaying message in their color choices as well. Both want to be your primary source for something, hence the use of primary colors in their logos. Your conscious mind may not notice it but the subconscious has a way of tying little details together and making them stick in our heads.

              Google = Primary Search Destination
              eBay = Primary Shopping Destination

              It is the same reason a lot of sites use the colors they use. Blue is seen as calming and professional. Red is fiery and passionate. This does vary among some cultures. Sites like Google and eBay can be more innovative but it could also hurt their message or present the wrong connection.
