  • PHP Resources?

Does anyone know of any good PHP resource sites out there?
Any online books would be nice too, I know if I buy a real book, I'll never use it, so if anyone knows any good online PHP sites(don't say php.net), please let me know.

It seems that there are very few good PHP resources out there. Lucky really, because I'm in the process of making a new one!

            http://www.zend.com
            http://www.phpbuilder.com

Both of them really good resources....

You'll also find a fair amount of open source php based projects on http://www.sourceforge.com and a fair amount of software listings on http://www.freshmeat.net

            Cheers,
            Shri

I thought zend just made a few progs, I'll have to check that out
I just stumbled upon phpbuilder this afternoon.
I've been to sourceforge, some interesting projects being worked on there.
              Don't like freshmeat too much.

It was posted in another thread, but this article on WebMasterBase.com is an excellent PHP/mySQL introduction.

pretty nice layout, but I think a slightly darker shade of green would be better, I've never been too fond of bright green.
Nice amount of content for its early stages as well, keep up the good work.

Thanks I've only been working on it for about two days so hopefully I can start building up some content. I'm also running a free weekly newsletter, but I wouldn't want to start plugging that here

Sorry to keep posting back, but what would you guys and gals like to see most on a PHP site? Tips, articles? Oh which topics?

                          Thanks,

whatever you can find. Any kind of learning information is good, but you should have the basics available too.

OK. Thanks. That's kinda what I had in mind. Stay tuned - the site is growing pretty quickly (content wise that is - the traffic hasn't exactly start pouring in yet!)
