I find it a bit irresponsible to uncover an exploit (or several) and not report it. You will only gain if you come forward with the evidence that you claim to possess. Until then, you're basically crying wolf...

Last time I reported a bug to Microsoft I basically got called a liar, then 3 months later they released a patch for it.
So the way I see it why should I report it if I'm just going to be called a liar?

Just wondering, but
People who actually pirate the OS most likely won't care what the EULA says at all.
I may upgrade to Vista, but I'll still keep XP on my primary hdd, and Linux as a backup, just with Vista on a spare hdd to try out. Hopefully our MSDNAA gets it soon so I can try it out on my rig.
Wondering how well it'll run with these specs (anyone who's used it to comment):
P4 3.2 HT
2GB RAM
ATI x600xt
a floppy drive
I might partition a chunk of my spare 300GB. How much would be good for a test?

My main concerns with the OS will be 1. DRM 2. Driver support 3. User Management (or specifically, restriction from affecting an Admin account).
I have a current driver issue with XP and my ata controller card. I updated it with the signed driver, and it just disappeared. More accurately, my drive connected to it disappeared, it still showed the card as being there. I rolled back the driver, and the drive showed up again. So now whenever I boot up, that drive won't show up; I update the driver, roll back, check it out in device manager and then computer management, and the drive will show up. It's almost like I have to trick it into working properly. And if I want to connect more than one drive to the controller card?
It'd be great if this was just a glitch between XP and the drivers, and maybe Vista would somehow be better at this, haha.

I'll give you a chance to prove yourself.
Here is my IP:

I moved my Vista box into the dmz. Stock out of the box install of Vista Ultimate. Have at it. If you can get in that is.
If any mods happen along no need to remove my IP. I am not one of those paranoid types when it comes to people knowing it.

Not really worried about the minor rewording of the license. I already planned on buying two new OEM copies of Vista next year when I built my wife and I new machines. I'll eventually buy two upgrade licenses for the kids machines. Their machines are newer and more up-to-date than ours though so better hardware to keep around a while longer.
Probably donate the older computers to friends who don't have enough computers in their homes or have really old hardware.Translations provided by Google.
