Ofcourse (even when they deny it), this was also already predicted before the sale was final.

But why? Surely google has more money to pay for the legal battle.

            Simple,

The old owners had no money to pay, so even if a lawsuit was won, there would be no money.

Google has the money to pay if they loose the lawsuit.

But aren't the old owners responsible for selling the illegal content ?

Therefore, they will be skint once they get the money from Google

Surely Google will be given time to remove the content without facing a lawsuit as they have only just bought youtube and need time to sort it out?

There was no money involed in this at all, it was a Google certificate or something like that (stocks).

Someone may want to clear that up more.

That's very much true, however, no one expected it to be few days after the purchase!

Very unethical, immoral & unprincipal business world.
You're spending millions of dollars on a website?!
