What you think of Firefox 2.0?

  • #2
    Release Candidate 2 is alright.

However, RC1 and Beta2 seemed to have less crashes due to Javascript/Flash (on Linux) than RC2. Which is a shame.

I've not tried it yet. I'll install it when it goes Gold.

Agreed. RC2 has more problems than RC1.

Beside Javascript, I was trying to print something from Wikipedia yesterday and Firefox freezed - all times I tried. This has to get better until final...

Even worse memory leaks than before

2 tabs, 130,116K and still growing.

                      indeed, memory is no problem.

running since almost 20 hours on different websites and at the moment with 4 tabs (that were much more during this instance) and firefox uses 96048 KB RAM, so it's not too much (at least not at 1 GB of RAM in total )

I think it's very good. RC2 is very stable for me.
