Hi guys,
I was running vb 3.6, it was running a tad slow although it was workable, I have since upgraded to 3.6.1 and now its soooo slow its losing me members.
Now I don't know much about servers etc. but I read somewhere it has something to do with server load.
Ive gone into cpanel and checked my server status and had a red light flashing next to server load with this reading 8.19 (4 cpus)
in vb admin
Server Load Averages 5.97 5.45 5.28 | 5 Users Online (3 members and 2 guests)
Ive been through and optamized my site by placing images/avatars into folders etc. and cant think of any other way to reduce the server load
I know this is'nt down to the server as I run x-cart on the server aswell which runs fine.
any help or advice on how I could reduce the server load would be appreciated.

php 5.1.6
mysql 4.1.21-standard-log
