    Neuritis

Last night I had a terrible pain in my back, it was burning like hell and I thought I had a jammed nerve because the pain was almost unbearable no matter if I was sitting or lying.

About 2 in the morning I asked my parents to take me to hospital but they told me that I should await further developments and they gave me a hot-water bag and wow.. that helped! So I slept lying flat on one side almost burned by the hot-water bag. I still have some marks on the side.

Well now I am back from the doctor.. He told me it's some sort of neuritis which means that some nerves under my rips are inflamed causing this terrible pain.

Imagine it as having endless stitches in the side..

He said it will last 3-4 days and he prescribed me radical medicine and without them I couldn't take the pain any longer.

Actually I wanted to visit Oktoberfest this weekend but I'll have to cancel that.
    That's the end of that!

Any reasons why someone would get symptoms like that?

He said it can have several reasons but the most common ones are a false movement and a draft (sitting next to an open window).

          Man, I am cursed..

Just back from the doctor: I have one or several kidney stones which cause a terrible pain. They found blood in my urine and the ultrasonic testing was positive. The appointment for the x-ray is tomorrow and thank god they gave me painkillers.
Now I have to pee through some sort of filter so that I can see the kidney stone(s) when it comes out. I'll definitely put it on eBay!

And you're only 20? Take a couple pain killers before taking the pee to remove the stones so it doesn't hurt as bad.

                    Thanks!

I have to go to the x-ray now, I hope I can take the printout with me.

I'm surprised they didn't use some sort of sonicwave to break up the kidney stones to make it less painful when...um...releasing them

I got the x-ray and damned they look scary.

There's one stone in my ureter (the arrow is pointing to it) but it is so small that you can hardly see it. They gave it one week to come out. If not I am advised to go to hospital.
