  • synchronizing two directories in windows

I would like to sync two directories in windows once a day and found a windows script host (WSH) that will copy all the files and directories to another directory. The only problem is that if I remove folders from the source folder, the target folder will still have the old directories. So im looking for a script that will recursively delete files and folders or a complete syncing solution that is free. Any ideas? Thanks.

This is the best sync program I have ever used. Very easy to use and it works perfect.

SyncToy v1.2 for Windows XP and it's a free program from Microsoft.

          Secure Copy http://www.scriptlogic.com/products/securecopy/
supports command line mode and has easy to use gui interface. It's not free but 30 day trial.
