Favorite funny films

What are some of the films that make you laugh or cheer you up when you're in an off mood? I'm sort of drawing blanks for my all time favorite but the only recent funny film I've really enjoyed was scary movie 4, can't say I cared much for the first two but the 4 had a lot of classic moments it in. The uncut dvd is pretty cool as well with the commentary.

I'd say my second favorite guilty pleasure would be really bad 80's movies.

In my opinion Scary Movie 4 was terrible. I thought 3 was pretty bad but not as bad as 4. I love the first two though, especially the first.

I think those computer generated animation such as Shrek and Ice Age are better than the filmed movies.
I want to see Cars when it comes out.
