That's true. Especially since some of their clients on the server have lost some revenue with the downtime.

I noticed vB.com was down last night when the call home script in the admin (v3.6) couldn't reach home and the log on hung for some time. After that I checked here and found the site offline. The admin on my other board (v3.5.4) had no issue other then a short delay.

vB.org is lighting up for me. It may have just come up.

We may go down again for a while later today while more hardware diagnostics are performed... sorry.
The company that hosts my website is moving from The Planet for similar reasons. Perhaps it is time to a better web server company?

By the way, did the down time hurt vBulletin 3.6.0's development?

It was posted somewhere once that we're on one Dual Xeon server with lots of RAM.
                Best Regards

I believe the same server hosts the official distributor sites and the vbulletin sites, and a few more things vB related.

No, Freddie said the dev site is on a different server I htink.
Congratulations on the death of vBulletin, Internet Brands.

Did they have the bug tracker backed up, as all of the bug reports are on the bug tracker?

Development doesn't only mean fixing bugs

I believe the hardware that runs this server is a Dell PowerEdge 1850 with dual hyperthreaded Xeons, 4GB of RAM and a 15,000RPM SCSI mirroring array, plus various management hardware.
