More and more as I go I am really starting to feel like I don't have enough ram and storage. I currently run 512, it does ok for most of my regular applications, however multi tasking with photoshop and IE is somewhat painful (same would go for firefox) not to mention running other im/email clients. Currently I'm looking at http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820145575 as far as ram goes, I have a 333 module currently loaded, and normally I'd just buy two more 333's to fillup my 3 slots, however the 333's of the same brand are as expensive as the 1GB 400 so I figured might as wellupgrade all the way? Since I am going to replace it all I'm open to other suggestions about other ram manufactuers, etc.
Now, I've not kept up with technology as much as I like, so I'm abit behind on the SATA reading, and I know theres a new standard (or almost standard?) coming our out...
Anyway I happen to prefer Seagate and then WD, not a huge fan of other hardrive makers, I'm looking for something with 200gb+ of storage that will work on my board, and possibly future systems, not sure how all of this sata stuff works and is interchanged. I remember when they told us SATA was going to be directly backwords compatabile with PATA ha!
Current system is being run on a http://us.dfi.com.tw/Product/xx_prod...YPE=MB&SITE=NA
