Finding old posts

I wanted to dig up one of my old posts here, from approx 1 year ago, but I'm only getting search results for my last 300 posts, which only goes back to October '05. Is there a way to view my posts from the beginning?

That didn't seem to do anything. Got a "Sorry - no matches" mesage.

You can set the amount of search results a search should bring in your
AdminCP -> vBulletin Options -> Message Searching Options -> Maximum Search Results to Return

You could use the date option to limit the search to posts older than a year.

It still only takes me back to July. I want to see a post I made around March or April '05. Can't do it.

<edit>Wait... duh... I didn't choose the "and older" option. Got it now.</edit>

In that case all you could do is narrow down the search by forum.

or take a guess at a word within the post.
