    Single Sign on to typo3

    Dear All,

At www.oscommres.com we have just integrated vBulletin to perform single sign on with typo3.

You can see it in production at www.naturalparenting.com.au

Users are authenticated in both typo3 and vBulletin regardless of which system they logged into.

Only the template was changed to redirect the login to typo3. Apart from that, there were no other changes to vBulletin.

With this change, a huge new world of integration possibilities are open to site admins linking the best open source CMS with what a lot of people claim is the best forums software.

The Single Sign On module and documentation will be available at the typo3.org site as soon as we complete the doco.

    With thanks,

    Damian Hickey

To get vB support on these forums you first need to be a licensed customer and register for Priority Forum Support. To do this, please go here:

...and enter your email address in one of the boxes. You'll need to have your customer number and password to access the page.

Note, since this invovles custom programming you will need to post over at www.vbulletin.org for help.
