Been reading over on the ASO forum were some members are saying they have it working on vB now with stats shown. They just don't say how they did it.

If they have it working, there is obviously a problem here - as it should be working by now then. Been 24 hours how and more.

Mine are in too now - and I have the code in the headincludes that I posted a bit further back in this thread

I'm also blow away also, very powerful indeed. I see my index page is just piping my homepage for hits by 20 more today! :0

doh! I put mine in the same place as you, Gary, and I'm still getting "Tracking for your website has not yet been validated" when I try to check the status. Is that something I'm going to have to wait X amount of hours for too?

Put it here in headinclude: My stats are in and this is were I put the code just below the META tags as explained by Google.

                  Code:
                  <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=$stylevar[charset]" /> <meta name="generator" content="vBulletin $versionnumber" /> <meta name="keywords" content="$vboptions[keywords]" /> <meta name="description" content="$vboptions[description]" /> <!-- Custom Code Start --> Google Analyst Code Here <!-- Custom Code End --> <!-- CSS Stylesheet --> $style[css] <if condition="is_browser('opera')"> <style type="text/css"> ul, ol { padding-left:20px; } </style>

Does it say "your code as been validated" etc, but it may take 12 hours to get information?

No it should get validated straight away (mine did). What URL did you use. Did you use the site domain addess like http://www.yoursite.com or did you enter the path to a file for forum folder like http://www.yoursite.com/forum/ or http://www.yoursite.com/forum/index.php

Because I just use the first - the domain address only to cover the whole site like this: http://www.yoursite.com
But it has took just over 24 hours to get the stats in.

As a side note: Most of my hits today came from vB.org LOL

3 days have passed, still nothing...

Same details that "director's cut" stats mod at vB.org can give -- with no wait (and completely free of privacy issues, too).

Viewed the source of my index page and it was right there under the meta entries. Still nothing. I THOUGHT the
                                Code:
                                User-Agent: *
                                Disallow: /
entry in my robots.txt may be the issue but still no dice. Still getting
"The Google Analytics tracking code has not been detected on your website's home page." I'm at a loss...I suppose I just have to wait some more.
