  • Gravity Hill

Has anyone ever been to or heard of "Gravity Hill"?
Some lady was talking about in the g.e.d. class.
She said that cars roll uphill when in neutral.

There is one of those in Moncton, New Brunswick (Canada), too, called Magnetic Hill, which has been an attraction since the late 1800's.

I'm talking about the one in PA btw.

Did you read about people knocking on the door and racing the devil?

              Same exact one I've read.
Usually I don't read anything long but I read this all the way through.

There are several "Gravity Hill" throughout the USA. There is one in Los Angeles, CA in the northeastern portion of the San Fernando Valley. I believe there is also one near Atlanta, GE.

This was on "That's Incredable" way way back, and it's an illusion. there is a dip that goes down hill before going uphill.

Which "Gravity Hill" are you referring to? The one in Sylmar is completely uphill, as far as I know.

There's one in NJ that I know of. It's the exit ramp for Ewing Avenue off of route 208 South. We used to go there when we were in high school, there was an urban legend that "many moons ago, some little girl was chasing her ball down the street and a car plowed her over and splat..." anyway the legend is that her spirit was actually pushing your car uphill away from where she died. I tell you, it was pretty creepy at that age, the car woudl actually pick up speed and be rolling uphill pretty fast. Cops eventually posted signs because all the kids would go there and others would be trying ot get off the highway, it created some more accidents, lol.

                              Pretty cool!
