Anyone got any tips how to make a bit more popular, as currently its like an elephant graveyard!

I have tried adwords, and soon we (fingers crossed will be getting an advert in a magazine, which I have stumped up the cash for!)

There are many ways to get a forum known. One important way is to get cross linked and have active and up to date content, besides having your forum url in signatures on sites and added to search engines.

Articles, reviews, competitions, information, events, .. all content that is almost required to have an additional audience to return to your site just for more readups and followups about current events.
