vB license for my little site would be a waste of money so I wrote my own.

(well, I originally wrote it for another site but I decided not to do that site, so...)

[edit: it's http not htp ]

    Really nice job guy

If you look at the 2 board scripts side by side -- you'lll see lots of similiarities in the coding....

It's not actually blazeboard reincarnated, but helping develop Blaze for a short while did have quite an effect on my coding style, and I guess that shows in XMB.

But I try to stay as far away from Blaze as possible, because in my opinion it's absolute crap.

I noticed some template code I gave Jonathon months ago found its way into XMB. I'm assuming you just took it from Blazeboard, as the code's in there line for line.

Ahhh, that. I remember that template code now. I just loved the idea of using only the variable instead of <?=$var?>, but was thinking of a way to get rid of it when I fully implement templates. Maybe I'll just put tags around the variables (<?=$var?>) instead of just the variable, and then include it in the file. I dunno. But I remember taking that really quick because I was anxious to get started. If you don't want it in there, I'll be happy to take it out. I need to restructure templates anyways (well, the very few existing templates anyways).

Well,I could be 13,and 13 is younger than 14,or I could just have my brother running it,and me telling him what to do because I'm so smart.

As for the coding style of XMB, I'm planning on doing templates in the near future, along with a db wrapper and tabbing the code in (just have to talk Nick into letting me do those two). I do agree that XMB's current code does need work...majorly.
