    Did I say that?
I'm sorry, are you trying to put words in my mouth?

Instead of Jelsoft dictating what you can/can't do
There is a difference between the use of can't and won't. Can't would mean its physically impossible to do, I'm making a decision hence the use of won't.

      IPB did it.
      You can too.
I know we can do it but we don't need to do everything they did.

I do like the picture though

The advantage of vB, brinnie, is that if there is something that is lacking or that you feel is a must-have for your board, you can modify it easily

vBulletin cannot cater for everyone's needs, and there is no reason why they should for yours just because you want them to - If it doesn't get done, hack it

A board with broken images = very very ugly. It turns me off and usually I go running the other direction.

Johnny has that effect on people...

Anyways, I never said you had to do it, or that you couldn't. I'd like it... Would save lots of bandwidth and storage... But hey, you're the boss.

I just personally think it should be a default setting... And we're totally off-topic. Hey, what's your vB best and worst?

Invision doesn't show broken images, it shows nothing. I have no idea what you're talking about.

Now do you have a best/worst feature?

                Best: Plugin System
Worst: Well, this would be nice to improve:

-the vbulletin statistics, i would like to have more stats wich i can export to cvs or so.
-stats for my Subscriptions to export.
                - Expanded view of what attachments are uploaded per user.

                But everything else is superb

                  BEST: Inline post editing.
WORST: No remote linking avatar option.

                  BEST: Boolean Search.
WORST: Cannot change post icons per skin! (wtf )
Best: fairly simple template system (from an end-user's standpoint)
Worst: no level of abstraction between model, view, and controller. If they were separated, doing things like providing the model via XML and rendering it to a view with XSLT would be simple.

                    Anyway...
                    Best: Great support.
                    Worst: No built-in warning system.

Needed: um.... cant really think of any atm...

                        Best: vBulletin Style Manager.
Worst: vBulletin Style Manager. It can be so much more than it is, even though nothing I have seen elsewhere comes close.

                          What he said.

I love the style manager, but I do agree so much more can be done. And at the same time, I have seen nothing like it elsewhere.

Right. And leach the bandwidth off another site, also very uncool.
