vBulletin and Mambo

What exactly will they be moving on to develop?

I am currently with IPB but as my license is up soon I am thinking of changing to VB. However, I have mambo and I would preferably like a forum that will integrate with this. As of yet there is nothing stable for IPB and I wondered whether there was anything for VB?

I finally got time to clean up my code and write about how I integrated vBulletin into Joomla (actually Mambo 4.5.2.3 to be honest). It's a bit long, so I wont' quote it all here.

Works great! Once I get the hang of joomla backend then I can actually make use of it my buddy is in process of converting our template to joomla right now.

This makes me wish I hadn't purchased subdreamer a short while ago

Unfornately, the whole Mambo development team has left Mambo, due to a dispute with the Mambo Foundation which is designed to grant control to Miro, a design that makes cooperation between the Foundation and the community impossible.

The Mambo development team has written a letter to the community here:

Actually, OSM has officially adopted the name Joomla as of some weeks ago. The dev who coded the Mambo/VB bridge has it at version 1.1 to use with Joomla (and still for Mambo, far as I can tell). Support forum for it is at joomla.org here.
