What resolution do you run your desktop/browser at?

The reason I ask is that I would like to know if I should keep 800x600 in mind when designing a site/forum.

    I run 1280 x 1024 at home and 1024 x 768 at work.

    I usually optimise for 1024 x 768, and in a few cases for 800 x 600.

        I have two monitors; the first one runs 1680 x 1050, the other 1280 x 1024.

          Are those multiple screens?

I'd love to see a picture of your desk

Yes it's multiple screens. A Sony GDM-FW900 in the middle and either side, Dell 2001FP TFTs.

What was the model? Since they looked quite nice and i have limited space on my desk.

It was a Samsung 151P, but do youself a favour and get a 17 or 19 incher with a tiny bezel rather than the one I had, which had a massive 'designer' bezel...

Higher than 1024x768, but my browser window is always set to about 800x600.

I'm surprised you stopped at 1024x768... I use 1280x1024 myself, but I prefer 1600x1200. I just dont have a monitor that supports a resolution that high
