  • Clean up TEMP files?

We use a program on the win 9.x versions to clean up temporary files.
It will not do it on XP

Anyone know of any GOOD free easy to use programs like this for XP?

        U can use IE:

Tools -> Internet Options... -> Delete Files

Or you can use the free up space in XP:

Start -> Control Panel (Cat View) -> Performance/Mantainance -> "Free up space on your hard disk"

The IE one is a LOT faster tho

I used something called System Mechanic from iolo.com during it's trial,

and it did the job I think.

Yeah just go to Start --> Run --> %temp% --> and delete everything you can, there are a few files that will be in use so just skip those few and delete the rest.

I use this as well on a weekly basis along with Registry Mechanic and Norton's Win Doctor.
