  • Sunburnt from hell

Man, I'm as red as an apple right now. For the past three days, I've gone to the beach (right outside my front door) swimming, playing around, and talking to hot ass girls.

Anyways, my back, belly, face (funny because you can see where I was wearing my oakley's) neck, arms, everything! EVEN MY FEET! ha. All I know is I'm gonna be really hurting in the morning. I can't sit, lay, or anything. I'm like stuck standing up or sitting on a stool where theres no backing.

And the worst thing is that I was robbed and ant got a dollar to my name untill the first. And the so called "friends" who have been like familiy who were the ones to rip me off don't wanna help me out.

Infact, I had to kick out my roommate, whos been like a brother to me, after dispreseting my familiy just atad bit to much. Anyways, I'm pissed ...

I have never sun burned in my life, and after spending an hour or so in the sun today swimming (no sun block, because I don't burn) my back and upper arm, as well as my face, is red, and it's starting to hurt.

Well, I don't do it, because I want it to burn (I like pain, don't ask.) But, if you want the burning to stop, take some vinger (brown would better work) and take a washcloth, and spreed it over your burn areas, it works if you get stung by a jellyfish too.

It's just an old fisherman's trick that my familiy has used for 100's of years. If that doesn't work, which it should (always worked for everybody I know) I got a bunch more tricks. But thats the best way, it'll also make you tan(ner).

I never wear sunscreen. I am the type of person that will just let nature take it's course, and don't use medical crap. You could cut my leg off, and I'll ducktape it. haha. :P It's not that I'm cheap, it's just that I'd reather have nature take it's course. :P Might sound stupid to you, but thats how I am.

Well, I live RIGHT on the beach here (Outside my front door, http://www.virginia.org/site/descrip...MGrp=1&MCat=14 ).

You can learn about norfolk, here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norfolk,_Virginia

Infact, they are building the United State's 2nd largest pair not but half amile from my house here. After Harrlison (sp) fishing pier went down during Isabel. They have been driving the concret piles down and it sounds like bombs are dropping outside.

            Here's some other fine links dug up from google about OV;

http://www.ovstationmuseum.org/ - little building up the road at the local shopping center that is mainly about showing you the old OV Amusment park that used to be here.

http://members.aol.com/MLebby3514/ - good place to eat and get fresh seafood, right up the road. Oh, it's abetter place to get drunk and party at. haha

http://www.ravnwood.com/guide-norfolk.html <--- this is sorta cute.

http://www.wtkr.com/ - local news channel, check out the traffic cams.

            http://www.wavy.com/ - same as above

            http://www.wvec.com/ - same as above

http://historichamptonroads.com/ - history of HR, like you really care.

http://www.usdoj.gov/ndic/pubs07/797/cocaine.htm - Sad thing is, I live SMACK DAP in the middle of the worst part of the coke area in Virgina. :P Hillside Ave. is considered the worst area in VA, and it's where I live. haha.

http://www.willoughbyontheweb.com/willoughby_spit.htm about half amile up the road from my house, Willoughy. (On that same road, it'll take you right down the beach to Virgina Beach (aka: The Beach), if you are going towards the buttom of the picture, the other way is to Chesapeak/Portsmoth, etc. Anyways, my familiy owns a bunch of apartments and our office (Tides Apartments) is in that photo, towards the top there, on the right side. I was driving on the bridge there once, about to go under the tunnel, when a Sub came out of the water and scared the living **** out of me. On the other side of the tunnel is where they keep the entire fleet of Aircraft Carriers.
Infact, you can see the old peir there, think of it half way out into the bay, and all concret. Hopefully they will be done this year, I forgot when they said. bleh.

http://www.farmfreshmarkets.com/ - I've never seen nor heard of a "Farm Fresh" in my life untill I moved to Virgina. It's like FoodLion, Inlges, WinDixe, IGA, etc.

http://www.hamptonroads.com/pilotonline/ Virgina Pilot, Local newspaper, get it every day at 4am on my doorstep. But most of the time the people waiting at the busstop or the weird dude upstars steals it.

Ok, i was bored. I still am, but I'm tried of searching google about stupid ness that I live at, http://www.google.com/search?q=ocean...start=410&sa=N - Heres where I left off, if you have gotten this far, and not bored already.

Here's some little extra's, basicly jokes ... Everybody around here says it to all the n00bs in the area. So don't get mad ...

The proper way to pronoun "Norfolk" is "No F-uck, Virgina"

And our slogan is "Welcome to Virgina, where our walamelons are bigger, and our governors a n..." (well, you get the point)

            Commenwelth sucks.

Ugh, I don't get it? Anyways. Um, theres a few ways. See, the Jellyfish will never sting you on the button of your hands/feet because there is no hair there, but whereever there is hair, it will sting. So you can pick them up, just odn't let it sting you. Like if you are in more than a foot of water, odn't pick it up, or it'll rap around your hand. :P I mean, if you wanna freak out a friend or act "cool" or whatever, next time you see one close to shore or during lowtide or something, pick one up and carry it up to them. Most of the time it'll break up, but not to worry, it's not dead. :P It's sorta like a starfish. :P

If you are really sunburned, apply ALOE. LOTS of ALOE. The sooner the better.

We love Aloe, yes, yes we do. But, I've not bought any this year, last year I bought an entire case of it. haha. The huge bottles too. But, they are alllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll gone. To many people enjoy taking my stuff instead of buying there own, it's sad isn't it. I know.

I might have like 20% of a small bottle left around somewhere deep deep behind all the crap in a cabnet somewhere, but If I do, I'm sure it's all cruded up and crap.

infact, note to self, buy aloe first thing in the morning.

I suggest you dig it up and see if you can find some. If its not tainted, apply a little to bring some relief.

If you suspect its tainted, apply some to the inner part of your arm, opposite side of your elbow and see if there's any reaction. If there is some sort of reaction, throw the bottle away. If no reaction, apply some to the least burn part of your skin and see if that helps

Well, before reading your post, I went to look for it, I couldn't find of my stuff that I bought, the real stuff. But I did find some Coppertone "Aloe aftersun burn relief" crap that my sister left here last year. The dust on it is so thick when I rubbed it off, there's still like 10 more layers of dust on it. haha, but I put it on. at 2:26am trying to put on myself is a funny sight. I can barely move my arms over my shoulders, and/or back, more or less to put it on my back, but I did it. haha.

To be honest you're an absolute idiot if you go out in the sunshine without any sunscreen on. Skin cancer cases are on the rise due to people who go out in the sunshine with little protection on. And you're putting your long-term health at risk if you don't wear it

As suggest above, use some Aloe, or better yet we have a product in the UK called "AfterSun", which you put on if you're stupid and don't either a) wear sunscreen or b) don't wear the right factor sunscreen

P.S. Do you live near here http://www.med.upenn.edu ?

                              Ahhh, sunburn!

                              Aloe is very very good.

Better is not to get sunburned. I sunburn easily and while I wasn't a sun worshipper in my younger years, I did plenty of damage at the pool on occasion.

Now, I go twice a year and have had surgeries to remove cancer on my face, back, neck.....
