The super hard game that no one has heard of, and very few have beat. It takes an entire day to play it straight through to the end. There are no saved games or codes to index into a previous state... you must play it all the way through in one sitting. Once you turn off the console, your game is gone and you have to start over.

I made it to the last world on the console, but could not make it to the last boss. The only way I was able to beat it was on an emulator using saved states.
I have played it all the way through, it only takes me maybe a couple hours now. End boss is actually easy. I love the game.

Did you encounter problems with "WALL 1" and "WALL 2" in world 8? I found it extremely difficult to avoid the various pits of spikes without my wall-walk kicking in and bringing me down into them.

You need to use hover as well if you want to stay out of the spikes. Its a pain in the ass.

We're talking about ancient NES? Duck Tales get's my vote. Simple, but very fun to play.

Yeah... even for the ones you should be able to jump over if it wasn't for wall-walk interfering.

Are you a bad enough dude to save the president?

That game was fun. I should play it again soon.

                        Highly agree.

                        I also loved
                        Mike Tyson's Punchout
Super mario Bros 1,2,3 (3 is my fav)
                        Castlevania (the whole series)

                        Seicross

                        and finally
                        Contra.

Besides Super Mario I and Zelda I, or course, one of my personal favorites was Ninja Gaiden!

Very challenging gameplay and good storyline...

Original Mario, I grabbed a NES off ebay last month with the game, just to play it again.
