Sometimes when you download a style from a 3rd party, the copyright might be missing.

I downloaded a theme from the owner who is sharing with people but however due to his site had purchased the banding free option and mine dont, therfore there a theme i notice with the missing phrase. so what i did is simply copy the footer default totally and replace it to the new theme footer.

Same thing happened here. My co admin installed a style for me and it was missing the copyright. She happened to notice it while tweaking a colour and temporary disabled the style until she restored the copyright thingy. There's also a style (the "Grape" one) I d/l here that the copyright almost blends in with the background (black on purple. Due to a minor colour blindness I have I had a hard time seeing the difference until I made the copyright a lighter colour so it stood out.

You can fix that easily If you're contacted and you have a license you can provide that info and explain it to the anti piracy department and revert it to resolve it. No legal action will then be taken. Not something to really worry about.
