Yeah, but that's without any passwords. With Tweak UI the password is encrypted and stored, and there's no need to type it in. It's an autologin with password option.

You don't even need TweakUI. Start -> Run -> "rundll32 netplwiz.dll,UsersRunDll" (without quotes), highlight your username, and uncheck "Users must enter a username and password to access this computer."

Tweak UI would fix this no problem as well as being a useful tool to have on your system.

At that login window, Did CTRL+ALT+DEL work?
If it doesn't, there's a possibility. If you have some sort of program that created a limited account (ie. .NET or Zend, it interfers with the login process)

Use Tweak UI with the auto login option. No more password prompting screen.

Are you talking about the traditional Windows NT Domain styled login?

how to remove the windows xp password prompt?
Hi there!
I have a problem with my Windows XP SP2.. Some while ago my account was password protected and now I removed the password but there's still the password prompt but NO password.. I can confirm that prompt with 'enter' without actually entering a password.
How can I remove that so that my computer starts without any password prompt!?Tags: None
