  • vB 1.1 Online Anywhere?

    Ive never actually seen this forum version before. Anyone know of anywhere that still runs it? Just wanted to see what it looked like

    1.1.6 -> http://www.dreamhire.com/us/forum/index.php
    1.1.5 -> http://www.tashorse.com.au/forum/index.php
    1.1.4 -> http://www.pluscellular.com/vbulletin/index.php
    1.1.3 -> http://www.orsweb.com/forum/index.php3
    1.1.2 -> http://www.worldroom.com/discussion_forum/index.php

    Search Google for "Powered by: vBulletin Version 1.1" (with the quotes) and you'll be amazed how many vBulletin 1 still exist
    That's the end of that!

        What was the control panel like back then? Any screenshots? Would be cool to setup a thearchives.vbulletin.com as a place to see vb's and other stuff of the past and play around with then. Of course security would be an issue with some of the older versions having security holes. Maybe make it a secure login to get access or something.

          Regardless of a secure login, it's be plain stupid to put up insecure older versions of vB Don't quote me on it but PHP has developed a lot since the days of vB1 and I'd imagine the developers skills have to, hence it's highly likely to have exploits.

                The CP had the same structure as the ones in vB2 and 3.. it was just plain text.. times new roman.. white background.. black text.. blue links etc.

                Very simple.

                              this is a version of vbulletin lite that was developed to see if your server could handle vbulletin. it was released like 2 months after vb 1.1.0
